We are helping our clients reach new heights in an increasingly digital world. Relational rather than transactional, we work closely with our clients to understand their unique needs and custom-tailor strategies that will help them achieve their goals.
In our fast-paced, information-driven culture, we partner with small businesses and nonprofits, advocating for their voice to be heard and their name to be known.
The Why of DKS
Before we dive further into what we do, we feel it’s best to first explain why we do it.
We have a special place in our hearts for the little guy. We know that small businesses and nonprofits dream just as big as large corporations but have more limited resources in making those dreams happen. We don’t think the size of an organization should dictate its capabilities.
While your time and budget are important, your staff is your organization’s most valuable asset. We want to relieve the pressure placed on your team by projects that may be outside of their specialized work scope. For example, asking your staff to do graphic design, produce videos, and create social media content may not help your organization achieve its goals (and could result in frustrated employees — so nobody wins). Ultimately, DKS exists to supplement your roster so your ace pitchers aren’t playing right field just because the team has no outfielders.
We are gap fillers, bridge builders, and customer reachers. We are wholly committed to crafting strategies that help David-sized organizations compete in a Goliath-sized world. From bookkeeping to digital communications to WordPress websites—and everything in between—we are in your corner. At DKS, our success is measured by the success of the clients we serve.
Say What?
So now that you know why we do what we do, let’s jump into what we actually do.
First, we start by listening. By truly understanding the goals and needs of an organization, we are able to provide the tools and support needed to help it thrive.
Because our team is so diverse in their skill sets, we are able to offer clients a broad spectrum of services. For some, we are providing simple website hosting and maintenance. For others, we are taking care of bookkeeping and organizational needs. Still others have us designing and maintaining websites, developing social media/blog content and marketing strategies, or creating the collateral they need for their rebranding efforts. Our clients aren’t assigned to just one specialist but instead have access to our entire team of experienced professionals.
We are so invested in the success of our clients, that nearly all of our team’s time is spent serving them. We know your business has a vision, goals, and a team of highly-skilled and dedicated staff. We aren’t looking to replace your subject matter experts, but instead want to relieve your organization’s pain points by flexing our team to help you accomplish your objectives.
Back in the Day
When Duran Kinst Strategies opened in 2019, we were a one-man shop that wanted to help clients reach (and exceed!) their goals. Even though that one man was David Duran, DKS founder and the Swiss Army Knife of skill sets, we quickly realized that we needed to build a team with a diverse set of specialties in order to effectively meet the diverse needs of our clients.
We set out and recruited talent from all over the country to enhance and expand the services DKS was providing. We’re now pleased to employ a highly-skilled team of writers and content developers, graphic and video designers, project managers and administrators, social media and website experts, and strategy, marketing, and public policy pros.
But we’re not done yet! While our commitment to helping clients achieve their goals will never change, DKS will continue to evolve as the needs of our clients do.
